Veneto Group is an Australian company headquartered in Melbourne, operating as the exclusive strategic partner and representative of CP Parquet, a family-owned Italian manufacturer founded in 1982 in Crespano del Grappa, in the Veneto region of northern Italy.
For over 40 years, CP Parquet has produced premium natural wood flooring to the highest environmental and quality standards — handcrafted in Italy, certified to the most rigorous international benchmarks, and trusted by architects and designers across Europe and beyond. Veneto Group brings that craftsmanship to Australia, New Zealand, and the Americas.
OUR STORY
Built on two decades of experience
Established in partnership with CP Parquet, Veneto Group was built by Managing Director Gianfranco De Vecchi — an Italian entrepreneur whose career in premium timber began not in Australia, but in Mexico.
From 2010 to 2015, Gianfranco directed Crespano SGR in Mexico City — a company dedicated to introducing premium Italian wood products to architects and developers across Mexico, the United States, and South America. Building relationships with some of the most discerning architectural practices in the Americas, he developed a deep knowledge of what serious designers expect from a material supplier — product integrity, precision, and an uncompromising commitment to quality.
In 2016 he brought that experience to Australia, establishing Veneto Group in Melbourne with a clear purpose: not to sell flooring, but to connect the people who design and build exceptional spaces with materials that are genuinely worthy of them.
Today, Veneto Group serves architects, designers, developers, and builders across Australia and New Zealand, represents CP Parquet across the United States and Mexico, and has delivered project work in Dubai and Italy — including on-ground sourcing and specification support for Australian clients working directly with the CP Parquet factory in Crespano del Grappa.

A floor specified with care, installed with precision, and maintained over decades is not simply a product. It is a design decision that defines how a space feels for generations.

For us, sustainability is not a marketing position. It is a consequence of quality.
